The supplied eccentric reducer is sized 3″ x 2″, SCH40S, manufactured per ASME B16.9. Raw material follows ASTM B366 UNS N08825 Gr. WPNICMC. To meet the project’s sour service demands, the fitting undergoes dedicated heat treatment, with witness test blocks furnished for batch verification. The minimum hardness requirement is controlled at 210HBW.
This UNS N08825 eccentric reducer passed G28 Method A corrosion test. The test ran at 120°C over 120 hours. Under 50x magnification, no preferential grain boundary attack can be observed. The maximum allowable weight loss is limited below 36 mpy (0.914 mm/y).
