This batch of A815 S31803 seamless LR 90 degree elbow includes two primary size variants. The 6 inch long radius elbow is built with SCH40S wall thickness, while the 2 inch unit uses heavier SCH80S schedule. Both fittings are seamless formed duplex stainless steel, designated ASTM A815 GR WPS S31803, with optional A815 WPS32205 material available for the smaller size. Solution heat treatment is applied to control ferrite fraction within 35–60%, balancing mechanical strength and corrosion resistance for sour media environments.
To satisfy the strict DPE DP-P-4 and DP-P-40 specifications, each A815 S31803 seamless LR 90 degree elbow undergoes a full range of mandatory testing. 100% PMI positive material identification eliminates risk of carbon steel contamination. ASTM G48 pitting corrosion testing confirms PREN ≥ 35, the threshold required for sour gas service. Charpy impact testing at -46°C delivers minimum 65J and average 50J impact energy, ensuring reliable performance under low-temperature operating conditions. All dimensional tolerances and end bevel preparation follow ASME B16.9 standard.
