Recently, Haihao Group produced a batch of AWWA C208 Mitre Elbows made from A139 Gr. B steel, designed for a customer. These mitre elbows are unique because they are made up of multiple segments, with three types of configurations: three-segment, four-segment, and five-segment elbows. They come in various angles, including 30°, 45°, and 90°, depending on the customer’s requirements.

Multiple Segments: Unlike standard elbows, which typically consist of a single curved section, mitre elbows can be made with multiple segments to achieve the desired angle. In the case of our recent order, the mitre elbows were made with three, four, and five segments, providing flexibility for different pipeline designs.

Customizable Angles: Mitre elbows can be customized to any angle required by the piping system. Our batch included elbows with angles of 30°, 45°, and 90°, and they were designed to meet the exact specifications provided by the customer.

Material Selection: For this particular batch, the material used was A139 Gr. B, which is a standard material for high-strength pipes in pressure systems. This material ensures durability and resistance to the pressure conditions typically encountered in industrial applications.
