Haihao Group’s collaboration with COSCO shipping heavy industry in the P-82 FPSO project

Haihao Group maintains a strong collaborative relationship with COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry in maritime engineering. Currently holding certifications from major classification societies such as ABS, DNV, BV, RINA, our pipeline system products find extensive applications in the pipeline systems of large vessels like FPSOs. Presently, Haihao Group is in discussions with COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry regarding the technical aspects of the P-82 FPSO pipeline system.

P-82 FPSO pipeline system

On December 18th, COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry held a ceremony for the loading of the N1151 P-82 FPSO upper module. Representatives from the shipowner, as well as members of the COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry project team, participated in the loading ceremony.

The P-82 FPSO boasts impressive dimensions with a total length of 360 meters, a width of 60 meters, and a depth of 34.3 meters. The steel structure of the ship weighs over 80,000 tons, making it the largest FPSO project to date. Designed to store 1.6 million barrels of oil, the FPSO has a daily production capacity of 225,000 barrels of oil and 12 million cubic meters of natural gas. The FPSO will be connected to 16 wells (9 production wells and 7 injection wells), equipped with CO2 capture and geological storage (CCUS) technology, and will employ a spread mooring system.

The upper module of the project commenced construction on June 20th of this year, and with collective efforts, the loading of the upper module proceeded as planned. Various project components have entered an accelerated phase. Drawing on the experiences of previous projects, the project team is advancing the construction and completion of the upper module with a focus on project integrity.
