What’s forging process and precautions?

Technological process:

(1) Use grinding wheel cutting machine to cut the material, turn the end face and fillet R5.

(2) The furnace temperature is (450 ± 10) ℃ and the holding time is 136min.

(3) Die forging and die forging equipment is 6300kN friction press. Firstly, the blank is flattened to h = 24mm on the upsetting table of the forging die, and then the blank is placed horizontally in the groove for die forging, and the under pressure is 2 ~ 3mm.

(4) The heating temperature is (450 ± 10) ℃ and the holding time is 30min (second fire).

(5) Die forging and pressing to dimension.

Matters needing attention:

(1) The pre forging process mainly includes blanking and heating. (2) forging deformation process: plastic deformation of the blank is carried out on various forging equipment to meet the basic internal and external quality requirements of forgings. The process may include several processes.

(3) After forging deformation, the cooling process of forging is followed by forging deformation.
