The bulk of this EN 10253-4 AISI 304 butt weld fittings order follows EN 10253-4 Type A construction, manufactured from AISI 304 austenitic stainless steel. Sizes span from small 17.2 mm OD runs up to 406.4 mm OD, with wall thicknesses matched to each diameter. Long radius 90° and 45° elbows form the largest volume, supplemented by equal tees, reducing tees and concentric reducers to route process lines through the project’s piping layout. All pieces are seamless formed, with bevel ends ready for field butt welding.
The higher-alloy segment of the order uses ASTM A815 duplex 2507 butt weld fittings built to ASME B16.9 dimensional rules. Super duplex 2507 elbows (45°, 60° and 90°), equal and reducing tees, plus concentric reducers cover DN15 through DN100. These components are reserved for sections exposed to seawater or chloride-containing process media, where 304 stainless would suffer pitting corrosion. The 60° elbow angle on two duplex items is non-standard and required custom bending tooling to hold tight angular tolerance.
Managing this combined package called for strict separation during production, inspection and packing. Our QC team verified each fitting against its applicable standard — EN 10253-4 for the 304 group and ASME B16.9 for the duplex group — rather than treating the entire consignment under one specification. Dimensional checks cover bend radius, end-to-end dimensions, wall thickness and bevel preparation. Mill test certificates are bundled by material grade so the client’s site engineers can trace each heat independently.
