The stainless steel elliptical head is forged below 700℃, with less scale formation and no decarburization on the surface. Therefore, as long as the deformation energy is within the range of forming energy, cold forging is easy to obtain good dimensional accuracy and surface finish. As long as the temperature and lubrication and cooling are controlled, warm-threaded pipe fittings below 700℃, butt-welded pipe fittings, and stainless steel pipe forgings can also obtain good accuracy. During hot forging, large forgings with complex shapes can be forged because the deformation energy and resistance are small. To obtain forgings with high dimensional accuracy, hot forging can be used in the temperature range of 900-1000℃. Forging below 700℃, the formation of scale is small, and the surface is free of decarburization. Therefore, as long as the deformation energy is within the range of forming energy, cold forging is easy to obtain good dimensional accuracy and surface finish. As long as the temperature and lubrication and cooling are controlled, warm-threaded pipe fittings below 700℃, butt-welded pipe fittings, and stainless steel pipe forgings can also obtain good accuracy. 3.Storage of stainless steel elliptical head

When storing stainless steel elliptical heads, pay attention to moisture, dust, oil, lubricating oil, etc., as well as rust on the surface, or deterioration of corrosion resistance due to poor welding. When water is immersed between the film and the steel substrate, the corrosion rate is faster than when the film is not applied. It should be kept in a clean, dry and ventilated place to keep the original packaging state. The stainless steel of the film should avoid direct light. The film should be checked periodically. If the film is deteriorated (the life of the film is 6 months), it should be replaced immediately. Pack with paper If the material is wet, remove the pad immediately to prevent surface corrosion.

4.Heat treatment of stainless steel elliptical head

During the heating and cooling process of the stainless steel elliptical head, due to the inconsistency of the cooling speed and time between the surface layer and the core, a temperature difference will be formed, which will cause uneven volume expansion and contraction and generate stress, that is, thermal stress.Under the effect of thermal stress, because the surface layer begins to cool below the core and shrinks more than the core, the core is stretched. When the cooling is over,because the final cooling volume contraction of the heart cannot be performed freely, the surface is compressed and the core is pulled.
