The differences between sockolet and weldolet

The sockolet and the weldolet both have a run end and a branch end.The run end is connected to the large diameter pipe,and the branch end is connected to the smaller diameter pipe.The sockolet and the weldolet are fillet welds connected to the run pipe.It is the same basic design as a weldolet where the major difference is that its branch connection.The sockolet has a socket into which a plain end branch pipe is inserted,then fillet welded together.However the weldolet has a bevel end to butt weld to the branch pipe,the branch pipe also has a bevel end.
