Specification selection of pipes on pressure vessels (international and domestic parameters)
When designing pressure vessels, the specifications and wall thickness of the steel pipes used for pipes can be selected according to the data in the table below. The minimum wall thickness of carbon steel and low alloy steel in the table includes a corrosion allowance of 1.5mm.
If higher pressure or larger corrosion allowance is required, steel pipe specifications with higher wall thickness grades can be selected.
