As mentioned in the previous article, our company and the customer finally determined the final test method. In order to ensure the quality of products and improve the customer’s trust in our company, all the manufacturing materials are directly taken from steel pipes, pipe fittings and flanges.

For the above three products, steel pipes are the easiest to sample. Therefore, before the pitting test witnessed by customers and third parties, our company successfully sampled some steel pipes after production and tested them at its own expense.

However, after the test results came out, but not very optimistic, three samples, among them, only one without pitting, the remaining two, have pitting, such products, it is certainly difficult to pass the final test! The leaders of the company attached great importance to this problem, and immediately gathered the sales team, production department and technical department to have a meeting to study and carefully analyze where the problem might be and how to solve it. Finally, after the discussion between the technical department and the production department, it was concluded that the solution treatment of the steel pipe might not be in place, which led to the corrosion resistance of the product.

After the production department immediately put all of the steel tube, all the solid solution treatment, the process, although spent a lot of money and effort required, also exceeded the order expectations at the start of the production cost, but in order to ensure that customers receive quality products, not in be used actually problem, we are willing to solve the problem in advance, solve the hidden trouble in advance.

After solution and pickling passivation, the product was sampled again and this time the results were satisfactory. With the experience of steel pipe, the company’s internal test of pipe fittings and flanges is also very smooth.

Finally, under the witness of ABS company, a third party designated by the customer, we made samples for steel pipes, fittings and flanges again, and carried out experiments in ISO and IEC certified laboratories.
