What are EN10216-2 P235GH pipes?

P235GH is a European specified steel for use in boilers, pressure vessels and heat exchangers. The composition of EN 10216-2 steel makes it ideal for applications where elevated working temperatures are the normal and the material is used by fabricators throughout the gas, oil and petrochemical industry. P235GH is a normalized carbon alloy steel. EN Specification carbon steel Tubes are used for high temperature service applications. Seamless carbon Steel Tubes according to EN 10216-2 Grade P235GH are reheated and furnished in full annlealed, isothermal annealed or normalised quenched and tempered condition.

EN 10216-2 Grade P235GH Carbon Steel Seamless Tubes have a typical chemistry with additions of maximum 0.30 Chromium and maximum 0.08 Molybdenum. The EN 10216-2 are manufactured from carbon and low-alloy steel grades which are resistant to loads under very high pressure and temperatures. EN 10216 P235GH are used for constructions of power engineering appliances such as: heating coils, boilers, stoves, heaters, Heat exchangers.

EN10216-2 P235GH Pipes

EN 10216-2 P235GH are heat resistant pressure vessel steel defined in the EN 10028 systems. They are similar to EN 10216 P265GH but with the lower content of Carbon and on the other hand with higher content of Manganese. EN 10216 P235GH steel has low yield and tensile strength compared with EN 10216-2 P265GH. The EN 10216 material is also designed for high-temperature applications. EN 10216-2 material have good cold working as well as hot working characteristics. Therefore it is utilized in pipes transporting hot liquids. EN 10216 P235GH is a European specified steel for use in pressure vessels, boilers and heat exchangers. 10216-2 is the EN numeric designation for this material.

Carbon Steel P235GH Pipe is the EN chemical designation. EN 10216 has moderately low thermal conductivity among carbon steels. In addition, EN 10216-2 has a moderately high ductility and a fairly low tensile strength. Carbon Steel EN 10216 Pipe are manufactured with the diameters range between 21,3 mm – 660 mm and with the wall thickness of up to 100 mm in the case of hot rolling, and with the diameters between 10,2 – 108 and with the wall thickness of upto 12,5 mm in the case of cold drawing. The EN 10216-2 are manufactured with TC1 tests (I requirement level) and TC2 (III requirement level) according to PN-EN10216-2.
