Product Specifications

These seamless concentric reducers are manufactured using Gr.S31803 duplex stainless steel, known for its exceptional resistance to corrosion, strength, and durability, making it ideal for harsh and demanding environments such as offshore oil and gas applications.

Inspection and Quality Control

Our commitment to quality is reflected in the rigorous inspection and testing process we carry out for every order. For this UAE project, the following steps were taken to ensure that all products met or exceeded the customer’s expectations:

Appearance Inspection: Each reducer was carefully checked to ensure there were no defects, such as rust, scratches, bending, or other physical damage. The focus on visual integrity is essential for maintaining product performance and aesthetic quality.

Material Verification: All reducers were manufactured from Gr.S31803 stainless steel, with guaranteed material properties as per the customer’s specifications. The critical material parameters include:

• Sulfur Content: ≤ 0.025%
• Carbon Content: ≤ 0.23%
• Carbon Equivalent (CE): ≤ 0.43%

This ensures that the reducers are resistant to corrosion and suitable for use in challenging environments.

Heat Treatment & Solution Annealing: The reducers underwent heat treatment and stainless steel solution annealing to ensure their resistance to hydrogen sulfide-induced stress cracking and their overall strength in high-pressure environments, meeting NACE MR0175 and ISO 15156 standards for sour service applications.

Packaging and Delivery

To guarantee safe delivery and avoid any potential damage, the reducers were carefully packed with protective caps. Additionally, the following marking and painting standards were followed to ensure easy identification and compliance:

• For reducers sized 3 inches and below, the minimum marking width is 12mm.
• For reducers sized 4 inches and above, the minimum marking width is 40mm.
