What are welding outlets(weldolets)?

Welding outlets are also called weldolets,they are the most common used branch connections to weld onto the outlet pipe.Welding outlets(weldolets) have beveled ends and connected to the branch pipe by butt welding,so weldolets belongs to butt welding fittings.The welding outlets are designed to minimized stress concentrations and provide integral reinforcement.We manufacture the welding outlets in high quality and to meet your specific reinforcement requirements.There are three pressure grade STD, XS, and Sch160 for the weldolet.

A weldolet is commonly known on drawings as a WOL and makes a 90° branch connection. It comes in full size or reducing for a straight piece of pipe.A weldolet is designated by the run length by the branch length.For example a 6-inch weldolet on a 19-inch pipe would be a 19 x 6 weldolet.
