Difference from straight seam tube:

LSAW pipes are produced from steel pipes, while spiral welded pipes are produced from hot-rolled coils. The rolling process of hot-rolled strip mills has a series of advantages and has the metallurgical process capability to produce high-quality pipeline steel. The alloy content of the coil is often lower than that of similar grade steel plates, which also improves the weldability of the spiral welded pipe. The material of the spiral welded pipe has better crack resistance than the straight seam steel pipe.
