Butt welding equal tee: The branch diameter of equal tee is same with the main pipe(Run pipe)diameter,butt welding pipe tee allows a 90 degree branch off from a running pipe.This allows for connecting auxiliary equipment to a pipe.A tee is welded on both side to the pipe,leaving the branch open for branch off.

Butt welding reducing tee: The tee branch pipe diameter is not same with the run pipe of the tee.Commonly,in a reducing tee,the branch pipe diameter is smaller than the running pipe.But there are also some project the branch pipe diameter of the tee is bigger than the run pipe,it means the branch is the inlet of the flow.

Butt welding lateral tee: A lateral pipe tee is similar to a tee but has a side opening outlet branch at a 45 degree angle.It is a kind of steel pipe tee,but the branch direction is different with the straight tee.On the contrary to the lateral tee,the straight tee has a branch pipe direction of 90 degree to the run pipe.Lateral tee can be equal tee or reducing tee.

Butt welding barred tee: Barred tee is a pipe fitting that is used in a pig launcher or receiver system in a piping system to ensure the pig could pass the branch safely.
Butt welding straight tee: A straight tee means a tee of pipe fitting which the branch outlet has a 90 degree direction turning from the main pipe of the tee.It can be equal tee or reducing tee.
